One Year As An Adult

I am currently celebrating my first anniworksary and me surviving early stage of adulthood. Pretty good; challenging but good; heartbreaking but good; eye-opening oh so good; and the best thing is ................. I survive.

We aren't going to talk about what did I accomplish throughout the year. No. I want to tell you a story about a girl (or should I say a woman?) who began to understand herself better.

Living on her own made her realize little she know about herself. With so many options given (and money on her own finally), she got to decide everything for herself. This led to her discovery on preferences, principal values, and priorities in her life and answers for questions such as

What to eat for today?
When should I go to work 8am or 11am?
Should I take a bath before going? (shout out to Astari wkwkwkwkwkwk)
When should I go home?
Should I wear a face mask? Sunscreen? Umbrella?
Better buy Tropical or Bimoli? Quaker Oats red or blue? Invest on really good tea or just buy Sariwangi?
Should I cook today?
When to do the laundry?
What book I would love to buy? What movie to watch today?
Am I happy at work?
Do I get enough appreciation at work?
Is that verbal bullying/abuse? Is it sexual harassment I should pretend not to hear?
Is it the time to quit my job?
Are they really my friend?
To whom should I share my problem?
Where to go this weekend? Indie-cinema or shopping or musical event?
Invest on a cozy room or allocate for holiday trip?
Should I breakup?
When should I get married?
Should I pay zakat? Qurban starting this year or just next year?
Do I really believe in this religion?
What does PKI do wrong? What happen in Trump's mind?
Many things.

The list went longer day by day. As time goes by, she is not the same girl she was one year before. All that she wants right now is thanking god, family, and friends who have stayed with her in these past years when things get hard. Thank you, lots of love for you, she said.

Celebrating this month by watching Baby Driver, buying external hard drive (a gift for myself), enjoying good music (IOEF), eating good food (try School Food, best!!), and moving on (to the next challenge).

Btw, finished a masterpiece yesterday I really love it.

p.s. Anniworksary is a special word I made for this post :)

Sam Smith - Too Good at Goodbyes

Sam Smith released Too Good at Goodbyes, enhancing my current mood to the extent that I canceled weekend plans and stay in my room.
His looks is much different, wonder if his muse has changed, or maybe just a slight change of mood and concept? Who am I really hahaha. I love the video, and his gesture, and the color, and his voice of course.

Btw, I haven't heard The Script - Freedom Child, shame on me.

This is exaggerating, I still go out for lunch and grocery shopping. I just don't socialize.
