Welcoming September, welcoming 2nd anniversary of working in Jakarta (1 Sep 2016- 1 Sep 2018), with the same company. I am amazed by how I can persist and stay this long. Well done!!
September marks season 3 of the work-life balance that is nearly impossible, but it is you yourself who can decide whether the work is enjoyable and worth your time. Haha sounds a lot like a workaholic.
Finishing the second year also means more people asking "what's next?" While I do think about it a lot, here I am staying up late to write an email turning down an offer, not brave enough to step up or even step out from her comfort zone. Of course I cover that up by saying "That is not the industry I am interested about", or "I want to stay because of recent changes, it means challenge and growth to me", or simply "My resume has not been updated yet, sorry I'll pass" Haha. Believe me, I did say that, two or three months ago, as an excuse.
